This series was inspired by a trip to New York with its fast pace and electric energy. Walking the city, and Brooklyn in particular, I saw some amazing graffiti and felt a need to explore something new.
Upon my return, I channeled the energy by pouring and splashing and dripping paint using all the colors I see in the desert. Ah! The freedom of “no mind” felt liberating and exciting.
